Job Description

Optoma is seeking a Business Unit Head responsible for our LED Displays across the EMEA territory. The role will encompass all aspects of business management, and ultimately be responsible for the profit and loss account for this strategic focus category. A successful candidate will have exceptional experience in business development and demonstrate the ability to define and execute upon strategic plans across broad territories.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Profit and Loss accountability for the EMEA LED Displays business
  • Achievement of designated sales and business objectives
  • Management of a growing team of dedicated LED Displays personnel
  • Define and execute strategic business plans to meet the market needs
  • Review technology trends and suppliers to ensure a timely and informed product roadmap
  • Align, coordinate and drive all internal & external stakeholders to achieve results
  • Performance review and reporting 

Candidate Specification

  • Commercial management experience within the AV industry
  • Proven history of business development and sales success
  • Experience with LED displays and/or image processing technology
  • Assertive, engaging, communicative and confident personality
  • Team player who is driven, adaptable and dynamic
  • Excellent negotiating skills and diplomatic flair
  • Practiced in working across broad territories and cultures
  • Fluent in English with additional European languages desirable
  • Educated to bachelor degree level
