New ultra-compact smart LED projector with built-in WiFi and integrated Android - Optoma ML330

Conveniently smart

ML330

TV fans, gamers and those that love to watch films can now conveniently stream super-sized pictures anywhere in their own home with the new smart LED projector - Optoma ML330.

Small and light enough to serve as a regular travelling companion, this new projector has everything in one box including integrated speakers and a host of connection options such as WiFi, Android, Bluetooth, HDMI and MHL. It can also play content directly from a USB memory stick or microSD card.

Joe Ahmed, Head of Marketing at Optoma EMEA, said: “The new ML330 is an incredible all-rounder, combining easy set-up, instant on/off, smart technologies and integrated speakers in a small and lightweight chassis for the ultimate convenience.

“With a light source lifetime of up to 20,000 hours, the high-quality LED technology will project films, photos and more in brilliant colour.”

Set-up is simple with built-in WiFi for easy connection to a network. Powered by Android users can access their favourite media services and stream movies, TV shows and video clips. Popular apps such as Netflix and YouTube can be downloaded using the smart user interface.

In addition, when the projector is not centred directly in front of the projection surface, the automatic keystone feature will automatically detect and correct the distorted image, with the touch of a button.

Content from a smartphone or tablet can also be shared instantly by mirroring the screen wirelessly. Bluetooth functionality means external speakers, headphones or a keyboard and mouse can be connected cable-free.

Other connectors include a HDMI port which supports Mobile High-Definition Link (MHL) for compatible phones and tablets, and two USB Type A ports for reading files from USB sources, including memory sticks. There's also a mini jack input and mini jack for audio output.

Weighing just 460g, the stylish ML330 is portable for use in any room or taking to friends with the included carry bag for a sports event, movie night or games marathon.

Business users can also benefit from the built-in Android OS which means MS Office and Adobe PDF files can be viewed directly.
