Optoma launches new 4K home projector – UHD350X

Movie fans can now enjoy impressive 4K UHD cinema quality images in their own home with the launch of a new home projector from Optoma – UHD350X. Along with 4K crystal clear detail, the new model features advanced PureMotion frame-interpolation processing for the ultimate big screen experience.

Kishan Mistry, Senior Product Manager at Optoma EMEA, said “Following on from the huge success of our current 4K UHD home models, we continue to expand our range and offer even more choice at an affordable price to home users.”

With sophisticated PureMotion frame-interpolation technology, this model produces stand-out images. This advanced processing eliminates motion blur or image judder, even in high-speed action films or fast-paced sports.

Packed with the latest technology and features, the stylish UHD350X boasts High Dynamic Range (HDR) compatibility, HDCP 2.2 support and includes a stereo speaker that provides powerful audio.

Set-up is simple with vertical lens shift for fuss free positioning and a host of connection options such as two HDMI ports. In addition, the compact UHD350X is lightweight and easy to move around and at 2200 lumens produces bright images for life-like big-screen entertainment even in ambient light conditions.

With full 8.3 million on-screen pixels, the new model meet the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) requirements for 4K UHD and comply with the CTA High Dynamic Range (HDR) compatible display standards. This guarantees razor sharp, vivid images capable of showing more details than standard HD – replicating the unforgettable experience of attending a digital cinema.

Equipped with Optoma’s Amazing Colour technology which includes an enhanced colour wheel and multiple modes and settings to choose from, users have the freedom to select the best setting for the content. Each mode has been fine-tuned by Optoma’s expert colour team to ensure superior colour performance. Reference mode reproduces accurate 100% Rec.709 HDTV broadcast spec colours – ensuring reproduction of cinematic colour exactly as the director intended.
