Optoma introduces the stylish X300 XGA Projector

London March 2013 – Building on the success to its award winning portable projector range, Optoma announces the X300 XGA (1024 x 768) projector.

The projector has a substantially improved contrast ratio of 15000:1 too, helping it produce sharp, detailed presentations and graphics when used in the classroom or meeting room. Couple this with brightness of 2800 ANSI Lumens and the X300 will produce stunning images for those using this projector in the office or education environments.

Continued technology developments have led to a significant increase in lamp-life for the X300 over its predecessors. The projector now offers up to 6500 hours lamp-life in ECO+ mode, leading to a more environmentally friendly projector with lower running costs.

This projector is “equally at home when used with whiteboards or for that important business presentation. Whilst, ECO+ technology, increases our commitment to reducing our impact on the environment, but works intelligently to not only reduce power consumption to as little as 30%, but also, by increasing lamp life by up to 70%, can reduce costs.” Head of Product Management Justin Halls commented. “The X300 uses the latest software and hardware developments to intelligently project just the correct amount of brightness required”

Connectivity is straightforward; laptops, PCs and gaming consoles are all catered for with an extensive set of inputs and outputs. The X300 features full compatibility with the AMX Dynamic Discovery protocols and an extensive RS232 command set makes controlling the X300 straightforward.

To ensure that the image is truly life-like, Optoma has included Texas Instruments BrilliantColor™ technology ensuring that colours are vivid even when images are projected at maximum size. Indeed, so confident is Optoma of its picture quality that Optoma guarantee colour quality will remain as new for at least five years.

The X300 includes a wealth of energy saving features such as less than 0.5Watt standby mode, automatic shut down and quick start-up and shut down. Optoma is committed to keeping the running costs of projectors as low as possible, but perhaps more importantly preserving valuable resources.
