Optoma announces the high brightness DX325 XGA Projector

London, March 2013 – Optoma announces the DX325 XGA (1024 x 768) projector. With brightness rated at 2600 ANSI Lumens, the DX325 will produce astonishing images for the business user and educationalists.

The projector has a markedly improved contrast ratio of 13000:1 too, helping it produce sharp, detailed presentations and graphics when used in the classroom or meeting room. Benefitting from continued technology developments, DX325 lamp-life has increased substantially over its predecessors. The projector now offers up to 6500 hours lamp-life in ECO+ mode, leading to a more environmentally friendly projector with lower running costs.

“The DX325 is perfect for use in education or for the business user in the meeting room or on the move, needing high specifications and the latest technological energy-saving advances. The DX325 includes Optoma ECO+ technology, confirming our commitment to reducing our impact on the environment. The DX325 reduces power consumption to as little as 30% and increases lamp life by up to 70%.” Head of Product Management Justin Halls commented.

Connectivity is straightforward; laptops, PCs and gaming consoles are all catered for with an extensive set of inputs and outputs. The DX325 features full compatibility with the AMX Dynamic Discovery protocols and an extensive RS232 command set makes controlling the DX325 straightforward.

To ensure that the image is truly life-like, Optoma has included Texas Instruments BrilliantColor™ technology ensuring that colours are vivid even when images are projected at maximum size. Indeed, so confident is Optoma of its picture quality that Optoma guarantee colour quality will remain as new for at least five years.

The DX325 includes a wealth of energy saving features such as less than 0.5Watt standby mode, automatic shut down and quick start-up and shut down. Optoma is committed to keeping the running costs of projectors as low as possible, but perhaps more importantly preserving valuable resources.
