Optoma announces the HD25-LV 3200 ANSI Lumen 1080p Full 3D Home Entertainment Projector

London, May 2013 – Optoma today launched the HD25-LV, a high brightness, home entertainment projector partner to the award winning, (Computer Shopper, five star, Best Buy, July 2013 edition), HD25. The new projector couples the cinematic heritage of digital projector technology from the Optoma high-end home cinema range to 3200 ANSI Lumens of brightness to produce Full HD viewing and cinematic quality images at up to 300 inches (762cm).

The HD25-LV is designed for use in the same way as a conventional televisions, the high brightness can be used for watching TV shows and movies or playing the latest motion-controlled games without dimming lights. Optoma has incorporated the very latest 3D developments to make the HD25-LV a Full 3D projector capable of displaying true 3D content from almost any 3D display device, including 3D Blu-ray, PS3, Xbox and Sky3D. To complete the experience, the very latest audio technology from SRS WOW HD™ has been included for use through the powerful 16-Watt stereo speakers. Improved dynamic audio performance and sculpted bass response create maximum thump from the on-board speakers and produces more natural audio with a wider sound field.

ZF2100 active shutter glasses are available for a seamless 3D experience. The Optoma second-generation wireless 3D glasses are fully rechargeable and optimised to provide a higher contrast and brighter image experience than ever before.

Featuring a full range of analogue and digital inputs, including 2 x HDMI (v1.4a 3D) connectivity to the latest digital entertainment devices such as Blu-ray ™ players and gaming consoles is simple and straightforward. Not only is the HD25-LV perfect for big screen cinema experiences but is also bright enough to be used with lights on for fully immersive gaming.

The HD25-LV incorporates BrilliantColor™ multi-colour processing technology to bring stunning, vibrant colour to your screen. Using six separate primary and secondary colours to produce a new level of colour performance and control. BrilliantColor™ increases colour brightness by up to 50% over other technologies to create vibrant, true to life images.
