Optoma launches 3500 Lumen Full HD Corporate Projector

London, May 2013 - Optoma, worldwide leader in the DLP projector market, today announces the launch of the Full HD 1080p EH300 business projector

Designed specifically for the high-resolution projection market, the EH300 combines unrivalled quality and performance with an outstanding specification including a native Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and 3500 ANSI lumens to produce astonishing detail and clarity in one projector.

Featuring the latest “Dynamic Black” technology the brightness information of each frame is analysed to smoothly adjust the lamp output automatically. Images are created with up to a stunning 15,000:1 contrast ratio to produce bright scenes that are crisp and clear, while dark scenes remain detailed with deep blacks that give exceptional light and shade detail.

A full set of connections including 2 x HDMI 1.4a Full HD 3D inputs support true 3D content from almost any 3D display device. High quality audio is provided using SRS WOW HD stereo enhancement technology, improving dynamic audio performance and bass response to create a wider sound field from the on-board 16-Watt speakers. The EH300 performs perfectly in almost any multimedia situation.

Presentations are easily controlled with the dedicated left and right click mouse buttons on the included remote control and a built in laser pointer ensures that the presenter is fully catered for.

Justin Halls, Head of Product Management, Optoma Europe, commented: “The EH300 has a 1080p native resolution for situations when you need to make an impact. It produces crystal-clear, bright and detailed images; perfect for technical presentations, advertising media and medical environments where creating the best possible impression is paramount.”

With the EH300 Optoma has designed a projector that incorporates a Texas Instruments 0.65” 1080p DMD chip capable of fully exploiting the latest BrilliantColor™ enhancements. Indeed, so confident is Optoma of its picture quality that its unique guarantee warrants colour quality will remain as new for at least five years.

With AMX™ Dynamic Discovery compatibility and an extensive RS232 command set, the EH300 is easily installed into network environments and the dual audio inputs allow the EH300 to function as both audio switcher and volume controller.

Less than 0.5 Watt power consumption in standby mode is standard along with many other cost saving features such as “auto power off”. The EH300, therefore, not only delivers reduced running costs but reinforces our commitment to producing environmentally friendly products.
